Cape Cod Fourth of July Fireworks for 2023

Falmouth | 7/4 at Dusk | Falmouth Heights Beach | Bring a portable radio and tune in to PIXY 103 (102.9 FM) for a music show that accompanies the fireworks. Note: Areas along Surf Drive and Trunk River may be closed off to public access during this year’s fireworks display to protect the nesting shorebirds. |
Mashpee | 6/23 at dusk | Mashpee High School | Family fun starting at 5 pm includes a K-9 dog show, obstacle course, train rides, food trucks, and face painting. |

Provincetown | 7/4 | Provincetown Harbor | On July 4th, Dolphin Fleet offers whale watch plus fireworks cruises as well as a fireworks-only cruise. These cruises are very popular, so reserve your spot early. (Dolphin Fleet: 1-800-826-9300) Note: Downtown streets will be closed to vehicle traffic beginning at 3 p.m. If you hope to get into town and find a parking spot, get there early in the day. |
Sandwich | 7/1 at 10pm | Shawme Pond | Go early for field games, a local band concert, and a boat parade on Shawme Pond before the fireworks. There will be music by The Moonlighters from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. |

The Best Cape Cod Fourth of July Parades
BARNSTABLE
Where: Leaves from the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex parking lot
When: July 4th at 9am
Parade Route: Travels east on Route 6A, turn left on Millway then right on Commerce Road back to Route 6A, right on Route 6A through the village to turn left on Parker Road, continue on to Church Street, turn right on Route 149, right on Route 6A and returning to the county parking lot.
CHATHAM
Where: Main Street
When: July 4th at 9:30am
COTUIT
Where: The parade begins at 11 a.m. on School in front of the post office.
When: July 4th at 11am
Parade Route: The parade begins at 11 a.m. on School in front of the post office, then turns left on Main Street and continues down Main Street to the former Cotuit Elementary School.
HYANNIS HARBOR
Where: In Hyannis Harbor
When: July 4th 2pm
HYANNIS PORT
Where: Begins at Hyannis Port Post Office on Longwood Avenue
When: July 4th at 11am
Parade Route: Route begins at the Hyannis Port Post Office on Longwood Avenue, turns left onto Washington Avenue, turns right onto Lafayette Avenue, left onto Winchester Avenue, left onto Scudder Avenue and then continues onto Dale Avenue to the West Beach Club.
ORLEANS
Where: Eldredge Parkway
When: The parade will kick off from Eldredge Parkway July 4th at 10 a.m.
Parade Route: Procession will travel toward the lights at West Rd, then turn right onto Route 6A. Travels along Route 6A to the intersection of Route 6A and Main St, where it turns right. It then travels along Main St to the intersection of Route 28, where it then turns right. The parade then marches down Route 28, through the intersection of Tonset Road, turning right onto Daley’s Terrace. It then loops around onto Marstons Way, crosses Eldredge Parkway, and ends in the parking lot at Nauset Regional Middle School.
SANDWICH
Where: Henry T. Wing School on Water Street in Sandwich
When: July 4th at 11am
Parade Route: Procession winds through downtown Sandwich via Main Street and Beale Avenue, and ending on Morse Road.
