Rooftop Pool Hotels in Boston
When it comes to enjoying a summer vacation in Boston, nothing beats a refreshing dip in a rooftop pool. Here are some of the best hotels in Boston that offer rooftop pools:
The Colonnade Hotel
The Colonnade Hotel is located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. The hotel’s rooftop pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of sightseeing. There are cabanas for rent, and since the rooftop pool is a popular spot, seats are first come, first served. The rooftop pool at The Colonnade is open to the public Monday to Thursday and after 2pm on Sundays for a $50 fee.
The Verb Hotel
The Verb Hotel is a retro-inspired hotel located in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood. The hotel’s heated rooftop pool is a unique and fun spot to cool off on a hot summer day. The pool offers views of Fenway Park and the city skyline. It’s considerably less expensive than some of the other options in the city with pools.
Omni Boston at the Seaport
Located in the Seaport district, Omni Boston is located close to South Station and Boston Harbor. The fifth-floor rooftop pool is heated and open year-round, along with an outdoor hot tub. The pool deck features skyline views and access to the hotel’s restaurant. Reservations for the pool deck are mandatory and need to be made in advance. The pool deck is open for hotel guests only. Note that reservations have a 30 minute grace period and then are released to others.
Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill
We love the charming Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston, where Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill is located. The hotel’s rooftop swimming pool is open seasonally.
Tips for Booking a Hotel with a Pool in Boston
When it comes to booking a hotel with a pool in Boston, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure you get the best experience possible. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your stay:
- Check the pool hours: Make sure to check the pool hours before booking your hotel. Some hotels may have restricted hours (including for children/families) or may close the pool for maintenance during your stay.
- Check the pool amenities: Some hotels may offer additional amenities such as poolside service or pool toys. Make sure to check what amenities are available before booking your hotel.
- Look for reviews: Check online reviews to see what other guests have said about the hotel’s pool. This can give you an idea of the pool’s cleanliness, size, and overall quality. It will also give you an idea of who is at the pool on a regular basis: families vs. groups of younger adults.
- Ask about pool access: Some hotels may charge an additional fee for pool access or may only allow pool access for certain room types. Make sure to ask about pool access before booking your hotel.
We hope that wherever you choose to stay, you’ll have an enjoyable time in our favorite city!
